Evy Crawled!!

It’s been busy here

Let’s see, where do I start? Well, I’m not working. I had to quit training for my new job because I had to have emergency surgery for an eptopic pregnany that ruptured. The good news is, they’re letting me take the training that starts at the end of this month, so I’m not completely without a job.

Also, the girls are famous… locally… kinda… lol. Below are two news sites for our area… they’re in there amongst some others.

Also, Evelyn is growing up way too fast. We were evaluating her with Early Intervention because she wasn’t feeding herself, creeping, crawling, or standing. Now she’s doing all of that, except for the standing. We’ve got an order for x-rays on her hips because there’s some concern about her being able to bear weight on her legs.

The girls have started school… 1st and 4th graders this year!

First day of school

And I’m jealous… but thrilled… for Bradford. He’s attending Dreamforce this year! Lucky bastard! LOL

Last week was my first week working since last August. So far, the company seems like one I want to work for, but I thought that about Steam during the first week, too. After 3 weeks at Stream, I quickly realized how poorly managed it was, which makes for a miserable work environment. With this company, I’ll be doing technical support from home. What can be a better environment?

The training has been interesting. We have two women that drove 6 hours from Pennsylvania to get the training. Their hometown doesn’t have many opportunities, which means a 45 minute commute one way for any decent job. I can see why this training is worth their time. I’ll be making less hourly with this job than what I made with salesforce.com, but I won’t have to pay for a babysitter or gas to drive 300 miles a week. I’ll actually have more money in my pocket, making less an hour from home.

Brad and the kids have been great! My mom comes up for a few hours in the morning to help Brad, then she goes and the kids, amazingly, behave until I get home. Brad even cooked dinner one night and did dishes 3 times this week. The baby did awesome not having mommy around. When I get home, though, she’s all over me.

Anyhow, back to work early tomorrow. I should already be in bed… but I’m stalling.

I don’t wanna go to work
I’m a stay at home mom
There’s a million things to do at home that no one else does
From cooking to dishes and folding laundry
It’s the biggest job there is
I don’t wanna go because then if I did
I wouldn’t be a stay at home mom!

A legend is lost :o(

Goodbye, Isaac Hayes.
