It’s so busy around here. I just do not have the time to sit and blog as much as I used to. But, I won’t bore you with reasons why I haven’t blogged… and just blog!
Personal update… I’m entertaining the possibility of going back to work. I’m trying to decide if I want to look into a remote position doing what I love to do (salesforce.com admin) or work part time at night through the summer so I don’t miss too much time with my kids. Hm
Bradford is doing what he does… work and play. He’s perfect, why mess with it. lol
Rochelle is doing fabulous. She turned 10 on May 29th. We had a very loud party for her. Give third graders an empty room and a stereo and they’ll entertain themselves for hours! (and tear up the decorations you stressed over for hours making just right!) You can see some highlights here and here.
Olivia also had a birthday… on the 26th! We had a family get together and her BFF came all dressed up like Cinderella. You can see her parties highlights here. She’s been doing great. We’re having some issues with her not understanding consequences, but we’re working on it.
Both of the older girls are anticipating their first softball game!! They got their uniforms last Thursday and now they think they’re all set to win! I hope they do… but just seeing my kids participating in a team makes me wanna do cartwheels (which I actually did try after 15 or so years of not doing one! LOL). You can see some of the softball highlights here.
Evelyn also celebrated an age milestone… the big 6 months!! She’s growing up so fast! She still doesn’t roll over, but she’s sitting up, waving bye-bye, shaking her head no (constantly) and attempting yes, and (Daddy’s proud of this…) burping, farting, and pooping like a man! She refuses to roll over, though. She hates being on her stomach, so I don’t put her there often and she won’t go there. That is probably going to delay her attempt at crawling. She can somersault like no ones business though! (OOPS… I sat her in the corner of her crib, she reached for something I sat near her and over she went! No boo-boos though!) And, you may have caught on to the theme here, you can see the last 6 months of her life here!
As you can see, I’m horrible and writing down all of the special memories we’re creating here in our little home, but I shoot pictures like the paparazzi!! So, visit my Flickr often if you’re wondering what we’re up to. And, I’ll try to be better at this blogging thing.
