Almost 30 y/o mom of three girls. Rochelle Jorja, Olivia Ashley-Jane, and Evelyn Ruth are my three very different girls. I was a single mom for almost 10 years prior to meeting my true love.
I was raised by a single mom, she was raised by her grandmother. Our family has never had it easy, but we’re women and we pull through for our kids. I moved around a lot as a child, had many shady characters in and out of my life due to the poor neighborhoods we lived in. We even spent some time homeless shortly after my oldest brother died in 1989. Since then, my mom moved us to upstate NY and worked hard to get her kids through school and get herself in a healthy state of mind.
I work hard every day to make sure I’m providing a healthy, happy, and safe home for my children. Since Evelyn’s birth and quitting my full time technical support position, I’ve dedicated myself to feeding my kids healthier and being more of a “at home mom”… not just a mom that’s home all day. If that makes any sense to you.
This blog documents a lot of my struggles. I started it for myself to keep track of my ever-changing children and self. It also helps me keep in touch with friends and extended family who I never seem to get a chance to spend time with.
PS: A lot of my opinions are controversial. I don’t claim to be a likable person. I don’t believe in religion, I have children with different men, I have children of different races, and I’m very opinionated when it comes to issues involving children, politics, and religion. I don’t force you to visit my blog. I don’t force you to read my entries. If you don’t like my opinions and want to voice your own, visit www.wordpress.com and start your own blog. I don’t need your crap. Have a nice day.
I love you honey… You will soon have to update this again with a new job, *knock on wood*. And talking about wood, I have a job for ya…
